History

Peacox Helping Hands was inspired by a “Day of Giving” to support families and community members with essential resources during the holiday season.  The nonprofit was formed to organize the delivery of services to reach those in need.

Care Packages

Peacox Helping Hands disseminates both food and hygiene items monthly to supplement household essential resources.

Clothing Assistance

Peacox Helping Hands operates a clothing assistance program that provides youth and adults with winter coats and jeans.

Community Clean-up

Peacox Helping Hands hosts a community clean up event in the fall and spring annually.  PHH staff and volunteers serve Yearling Road from Main Street to East Board and all intersecting streets.  The team collects trash and debris and disposes of it supporting neighborhood beautification.

Civic Engagement

Neighborhood Watch (NW) – The Peacox Neighborhood Watch Program is an initiative that promotes healthy community communication between local residents through information sharing and resource distribution.  Members participate in local patrols to promote safety, and collect debris to promote community beautification.
